WHY not Wheat Letters???
February 14, 2007
We are all members of the Body of Christ. We want the candidates to experience in a personal and explicit way the power, the support, the affirmation and the intercessory love of the greater Christian community...that is family, friends, and fellow Christians from local centers and all over the world.
What are the two types of Wheat Letters? 1. Personal-to a specific person 2. General-to the team and/or candidates
What should a Wheat Letter include? +It can be a quick note telling them that you are praying for them & thier own TEC experience! +Keep it brief, personal, affirming, and supportive +Marked either DIE DAY, RISE DAY, or GO DAY +Be specific about your experience, special moment or theme of the day: Death, Resurrection, or Mission +Mention specifically the Wheat you will be doing for the TECites...PRAYERS, FASTING, ALMSGIVING, SACRIFICE...this is important. Share how or what you are doing as prayerful sacrifice for their Encounter with Christ.
Remember that Christ is counting on you in all you do.
Share those works of Christ with someone this weekend.
Web Wheat Letters need to be sent BEFORE the weekend to our Co-ordinators: bon12_@hotmail.com in order that they be printed and delivered to the recipient. Written letters can be sent to: GRTEC 1901 S. 8th Street Quincy, IL 62305-7207
